NVG CQB

The pinnacle of conducting CQB mission sets is the ability to successfully employ TTP's during hours of limited visibility utilizing low-light/no-light equipment.

The advantages of conducting CQB under night vision are tremendous, which is why SOF units prefer to work at night. The emphasis of this course is to acclimate the students to clearing structures with NVG’s and IR lasers. Students must have a firm grasp of principles of CQB and the TTP’s of Points of Domination in order to attend this advanced course. Furthermore, attending students should have baseline knowledge of using NVG’s and lasers. Northern Red does not stray from the fundamentals, which is why refresher training is conducted during daylight hours before moving into the Period of Darkness. Learning the skills taught in this course provide additional capabilities, increase survivability, and enhance the assaulters mission readiness. The blocks of instruction in this course coincide with Northern Red daytime CQB curriculums with additional classes on; low-light considerations, NVG’s, and IR lasers. This course can be formatted into a 3 or 5 day Program of Instruction based on the needs of the client.
