NVG Laser Gunfighter

THE PREMIERE ASSAULT FORCES IN THE WORLD FULLY UNDERSTAND THE INCREASED CAPABILITIES AND LETHALITY THAT IS PROVIDED BY THE UTILIZATION OF NIGHT VISION AND LASER AIMING DEVICES.

This course is a comprehensive overview of working with a carbine during limited visibility. Divided course into day and night time iterations, students will receive blocks of instruction during the day, and then execute the same drills and skills during the following period of darkness. Students are provided extensive classes on proper wear and usage of NVGs and IR lasers. These highly detailed classes will extend the level of knowledge and improve confidence in these key pieces of equipment. The program of instruction gives students the repetitions needed to employ these tools during real-world missions. The targeted learning objectives are: key components of NVG’s/Lasers, mounting NVG’s/Laser, helmet set-up, rapid adjustment of equipment, zero, fundamentals of rifle marksmanship with lasers, weapon manipulation, multiple target engagements, and shooting on the move.
