OPPOSITION BASED CQB
NORTHERN RED'S 3-DAY CLOSE QUARTERS BATTLE COURSE IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE OUR CLIENTS THE KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING, AND LESSONS LEARNED ASSOCIATED WITH US SOF’S USE OF POINTS OF DOMINATION.
As with all of Northern Red’s training, the course will begin with a diagnostic assessment of students in order to establish a baseline of skills and standardization of tactics. The instructional portion of this course begins with the most important aspect of fighting against an armed and willing enemy; actions on entry into a room. Once this foundation is established, the course will rapidly progress into dealing with danger areas, doors, and moving through multiple rooms. Each block of instruction builds upon the previous one, providing students a systematic approach in learning how to deal with increasingly complex problems. Additional aspects of CQB covered in this course are; target discrimination, marksmanship, priorities of work in rooms, hallways, intersections, stairs, mindset, and force-on-force training, low-light/no- light considerations, and Multiple Team entries.
