NORTHERN RED'S CQB COURSE IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A BASIC WORKING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF INTERIOR FIGHTING.
There is no live fire during this course, however, as with all Northern Red training courses it starts with a diagnostic assessment to establish a baseline of skills. The instructional portion of this course begins with the most important aspect of fighting against an armed and willing enemy: actions on entry into a room. Once this foundation is established, the course will rapidly progress to dealing with danger areas, manipulation of doors, and moving through multiple rooms.
Each block of instruction builds upon the previous one providing students with a systematic approach in learning how to deal with increasingly complex problems. Additional aspects covered in this course, are: target discrimination, marksmanship, priorities of work in rooms, hallways, intersections, mindset, lowlight/no-light considerations, and force-on-force.
