TACTICAL COMBAT CASUALTY CARE COURSE IS CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TCCC-AC (ALL COMBATANTS) PROTOCOL.
The Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course introduces evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care on the battlefield.
The course is integrated so everyone understands how to work as a member of a team, delivering a spectrum of care that gives the wounded or critically injured the best chance of survival. This program covers the fundamentals of delivering care in an austere tactical environment. All training resources are taken from TCCC, PHTLS, peer-reviewed evidence, expert opinion, and after action reviews/lessons learned from real world experiences.
The instructors are combat experienced with SOF backgrounds and have treated numerous casualties in hostile/combat environments. We use the “train like you fight” and “crawl-walk-run” methodologies. The instructors take combat medicine very seriously and expect our students do the same. Our training focuses on the mind-set, assessments, and treatments needed to provide life saving interventions at the point of injury, and timely, tactical evacuation from the hostile area. Students will be placed in scenarios that challenge their skills allowing them to realize what is realistic and unrealistic in unknown situations. Practical, real-world interventions and improvisational solutions will be emphasized.
