ARE YOU READY?

Do your current training practices and capabilities allow you to effectively respond to violent confrontations? Responding to violence requires more than hard skills alone; you must also know who you are, what you stand for, and how willing you are to achieve your endstate.

There is a standard for creating effective training cycles. The initial portion of this course is the first step in this process: Evaluate and assess current proficiencies. Through testing your readiness and current level of training, in realistic force-on-force scenarios derived from recent and relevant events, this assessment will diagnose deficiencies in individual capabilities and the ability to react to life threatening stimuli. The latter part of the course will focus on the additional steps to effective training: Prioritization of training; planning and preparing; and execution.

COURSE CONTENT:

  • The ability to test yourself against determined opposition in a wide range of situations.

  • The Truth. You will receive an objective assessment of your current capabilities and whether your training plan prepares you to effectively respond to violent encounters.

  • Instruction on how to identify training requirements and deficiencies, and how to construct a corresponding training program that is tailored to your schedule, resources, and goals.

  • Individualized assessment created by Northern Red Instructors.

  • The confidence and competence to take ownership of your training and results.
